REGIONAL MANAGER, CLINICAL LEARNING NURSING (WORKSITE LOCATION IS FLEXIBLE)

The Regional Manager Clinical Learning Nursing works with a broad range of internal and external partners in the development and implementation of Northern Health’s (NH) clinical learning, professional training and development programs. This includes responsibility for the management of staff and resources. The incumbent works collaboratively with the leadership across the organization to ensure that clinical education is regionally standardized, but also contextually sensitive to the various areas across NH.

Starting salary will be approximately from $108,147 to $135,184 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education and/or a Health Discipline.
• Five (5) to Seven (7) years of progressive leadership with a focus on education and training experience in complex unionized environment, or;
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of the theories, concepts, and methods of adult education.
• Ability to apply adult learning concepts to programs and services.
• Excellent instructional, small and large group facilitation.
• Knowledge of current healthcare issues and trends.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to foster working relationships, both internal and external, at all levels.
• Ability to collaborate with others to design client-centered services and solutions to address complex problems.
• Ability to proactively anticipate and adapt to changing priorities and opportunities both at the strategic and operational level.
• Ability to conduct research, synthesize evidence and conduct informal and formal evaluations.
• Ability to develop instructional design, curriculum, learning needs assessments, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to provide coaching, guidance, and advice to clinical staff.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing activities concurrently.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Ability to operate related equipment including relevant computer software applications.
• Ability to perform the duties related to this position.
