REGISTERED CARE AIDE, LONG-TERM CARE

Position Summary

Are you someone who has a real passion for helping others? Follow the path to an exciting career as a Registered Care Aide at Terraceview Lodge.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs and/or assists with the individual care of residents. Duties are performed in accordance with the policies and procedures of Northern Health.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Resident Care Attendant program or an equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
