BIOLOGICS PRODUCT MONITOR

Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Biologics Product Monitor.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Biologics Product Monitor (BPM) functions as a member of the interprofessional team while working in partnership with the Regional CD Team and Biological team members. The BPM provides both operational and administrative support and is responsible for their local NH immunization programs and Community Vaccine Providers (CVPs) access to vaccines and order schedules and maintains relationships with local immunizing partners. The BPM is responsible for vaccine inventory management for each Interprofessional Team and is a key team member regarding the planning and execution of local immunization programs. The BPM works in partnership with a designated back up BPM at their health unit for all vaccine tasks and planning. The BPM also maintains regular communication with the Regional CD Biologics team members and IPT Team Lead (or designate).

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30

Qualifications

• Grade 12, graduation from an Office Administration program supplemented by two (2) year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid BC Driver’s License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage will be reimbursed.

• Demonstrated proficiency in computer word processing, spreadsheet applications, and specialized clinical information systems.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instruction.
