Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor III with leadership experience to join our Environmental Services department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of Environmental Services and Laundry Staff at assigned facilities. Working within the scope of Northern Health (NH) Regional Policies and Processes, performs and/ or directs the performance of a variety of housekeeping duties and coordinates work assignments in relation to operational needs. Carries out related administrative duties. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Plus three (3) years recent related experience including six months in a supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
