Position Summary
Are you looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Adult Day Service department.
Assists the LPN Supervisor in providing a balanced program of purposeful services and activities to meet client’s activation, life skills, recreational and social needs and to assist with activities of daily living as required.
Qualifications
• Long Term Care Aide certificate or a combination of training and experience augmented by sound knowledge of the problems faced with dealing with the elderly and persons who periodically suffer physical problems, and psychological or emotional disturbances; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• One year experience in a health care facility/agency related to care for the elderly.
• Valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to assist with planned activities in a professional manner.
• Ability to work and interact with clients.
• Possesses tact in dealing with clients.
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively within an environment consisting of a variety of professional disciplines.
• Ability to work independently as well as under supervision.
