Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking a dynamic Health Service Administrator (HSA) to lead the planning, integration, and delivery of high-quality health programs and services in Quesnel, aligning with strategic priorities across the Northern Interior region.

The Health Service Administrator (HSA) provides leadership in the planning, integration, delivery and evaluation of programs and services for Quesnel. The HSA ensures that quality care is provided and that the strategic goals and objectives of Northern Health, Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) and Community Business Plans are achieved. The incumbent participates as a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Northern Interior (NI) HSDA to build and implement operational plans to achieve strategic priorities.

Starting salary will be approximately from $155,327 to $194,159 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds.

Qualifications

• A Masters Degree in a Health Administration or a related discipline;
• Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in progressively senior health care administration roles.

Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of the operations of acute care hospitals and health centers, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the facilities.
• Knowledge of community and long-term care operations, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the facilities.
