Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at Laurier Manor.
Under the general direction of the Manager, Support Services (or designate), performs environmental services duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and washing walls, windows and ceilings.
Laurier Manor, has 32 publicly subsidized assisted living units; all are one bedroom suites. There is a dining area, hair dressing room, kitchen, staff offices, storage rooms, bathrooms, tub room, laundry rooms on each floor. Assisted living is independent living with supports. Residents are supported to maintain their independence through hospitality services, therapeutic recreation programs and personal care plans. Wellness programming includes a wide variety of programs to engage residents both within the building and the larger community.

Qualifications
• Completion of Grade 12.
• Building Service Worker Certificate.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Or other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
