In accordance with the vision and values of the organization and under the general supervision of a senior position such as a Recreation Therapist, Program Coordinator, Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist, the Activity Worker is a member of the multidisciplinary team within a client and family centered model of care and is responsible for carrying out an established activity/recreation/leisure program as directed.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days - 08:30 to 16:00, Rotating

Dunrovin Park Lodge Dunrovin Park Lodge is a 91-bed Intermediate Care residential facility
with 19 Special Care beds. It provides respite services and an adult day program. The Quesnel and area palliative care’s hospice care beds are also located in this facility, for a total of 117 beds facility wide.

Qualifications

• Grade 12, plus completion of recognized recreation course(s)
• Two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid class 4 vehicle license.

• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
